MY DESIGN JOURNEY

I remember the first time I burn-engraved my wife’s (then girlfriend’s) initials into a sleek slab of live edge cherry…she will always re-live those fond memories whenever she passes by the wall-mounted work of love and art  .. Wood resurrects?  Memories.

Hailing from the fertile Hudson Valley in upstate New York, our team has a special connection with the woods. We grew up here. From playing hide and seek, to chopping fuel for the wood stove and whittling away at the leftovers, timber is a touch of home.

Our mission is to capture good times and fond memories in a quality and enduring pieces. We look forward to working with you.

My love of the craft stems from the ongoing anticipation of turning concepts into reality (…and the aroma of wood, freshly cut!)

My father was a handy person who brought us along to accomplish impressive remodeling projects. I begin working for a custom kitchen’s company in my early twenties and then with a home remodeling business.

​

I am currently a full-time science teacher at the local highschool, but this is my creative outlet!

Over the course of my career, I’ve created a variety of projects for myself, non-profits, businesses and service members. Nothing brings me greater satisfaction than watching my customers view a finished piece for the very first time!
